FMGE Exam: Step by Step Instructions for Filling Up the Application Form

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has invited applications for the FMGE 2023 December session. It is scheduled for 20 January 2024. Foreign medical graduates who have completed their medical degree from outside India must sit the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). This is
necessary to be eligible for a Medical Council of India (MCI) license.
Candidates should be extremely careful while filling out the FMGE Application Form. The information provided in the application form will be verified with the submitted documents. Those candidates who are deemed eligible will be issued FMGE admit cards. This will happen once the document verification process is
over.

Follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the FMGE application form.

Register Online
Visit the official website of nbe.edu.in. Look for the ‘FMGE online registration tab’. Click on the tab to get the FMGE application form link. Candidates should carefully read the instructions mentioned and check the ‘I have read the instructions’ checkbox to proceed with the application process’.
Furnish Details
Candidates should provide their basic details as asked in the registration tab. The information required is name, date of birth, Email ID, and contact details for verification. Save the above-mentioned details to get login credentials in the mail.
Generate Login ID
Once the details are saved, a login id will be created on the provided email ID. The candidate should log in with the provided credentials. The password would be updated later according to the directions mentioned in the FMGE application form.
Fill Out Application Form
Candidates should fill out the application form with the correct details. Enter citizenship, qualification, internship and other details as per official documents. These details should be filled out carefully. They will be verified with official documents.
Choose Exam Centre
Once the FMGE Application Form is completed the candidates need to select the exam centre. FMGE Exam centres are allotted on a first come first serve basis. Make sure you fill out the application immediately to get the preferred exam centre.
Upload documents
Once the exam centre is selected, the candidate needs to upload certain scanned documents. These include passport-size photographs and the signature in the prescribed format.
Application Fee Payment
The application fee submission is the most important step. Without fee payment, the application form would be regarded as incomplete. The admit card would not be issued as a result.
Final Submit and Print Form
Once the application fee payment is done, the candidate should click on the final submit on FMGE Application Form. It is advised to print it for future reference.
